Do you have a draft of your manuscript and need an expert editorial review? Or are you working on a manuscript and want feedback before moving forward? I've helped hundreds of writers elevate their writing through detailed development, or content, edits. I've worked closely with these authors to shape manuscripts into books, many of which became New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestsellers.

During the development editing process, I provide high-level feedback on aspects that include:

• use of storytelling to illustrate points 

• and other critical big picture issues

 

Above all I focus on the reader experience, making suggestions to ensure your reader will understand your message and that through your writing, you'll be able to achieve your goal--whether it's to instruct, inform, or inspire--or a combination of the three. I also help connect your writing to your bigger strategy, whether that's as a content marketing piece, a way to get more speaking, or more--and provide suggestions throughout on aligning your work to your goals.

Because the level of work required is different for every book, I need to review 2 sample chapters in order to provide a quote for the overall cost of editing the entire manuscript. The quote covers the cost of two rounds of editing; anything additional will require another quote.
