Are you interested in getting published but don't know where to start?  Or do you need personalized help learning how to grow your business with a book? Navigating the world of publishing--even deciding whether or not to go with a traditional publisher or to self-publish--can be challenging.

As someone who has over two decades of experience working at a major, global publisher, I understand the ins and outs of the entire process, from what publishers look for in proposals and the steps from manuscript and proposal creation to understanding how books are pitched and sold to national retail channels. I also have extensive experience working with authors on positioning their ideas in ways that scale their business and build new audience members.

I offer one-on-one consultations covering everything from general questions about navigating the world of publishing to doing the deep work of understanding how a book can help you achieve your larger business goals.

Please note that while I can explain the elements of a proposal during a consult call, I do not consider proposal pitches during these consultations.  If you are interested in me reviewing a completed book proposal for agency representation, please refer to my submission guidelines, which are available on the Aevitas Creative Management website.
